29 weeks! That means 11 weeks to go! Yikes!!!!!

I gotta say: gestational diabetes is a pain in the ass. WANNA HEAR ABOUT IT? complaints complaints complaints )

OTHER THAN THAT, I'm tired a lot and my hips hurt like crazy and I've got some gnarly stretch marks on my stomach. Also my hair is thicker and my nails grow faster. Also I feel huge but people constantly tell me I look really small for seven months, so??? Also here is a list of things I cannot wait to eat again:

→ a salami sandwich
→ runny eggs
→ a cold beer
→ smoked salmon on a bagel
→ FUCKING ANYTHING WITH SUGAR

... Anyway.

Been watching a lot of Elementary. Like A LOT. It's really fun and I'm enjoying it a lot.

I have been to the dentist a lot recently and all of the appointments have been fine except for one which was the only one not with my usual dentist and, whether this is coincidental or not, it was terrible in every way and the teeth in question still hurt which is impressive particularly because they didn't actually hurt before the appointment and I have some regret-like feelings of dread that I'm going to move on from now okay yes good.

About to start my last week of work, which is bad because that means no more money but is good because I am feeling very tired and overwhelmed recently, so more me time sounds like a great idea.

I'm working on a fic thing and it's a big project and I am planning on finishing it by Jun's birthday but we'll see.

... This is a very complainy post but overall I'm doing pretty okay. It's just that the frustrating things are really, really frustrating. I'm going to end this post now but I love you all!!!

Since I've been needing a break since forever, my stance this summer is NOT to sub any current weekly drama, but only some SP or two (I was planning to sub some movie also but I saw that English subs will be available in its upcoming dvd/bluray release so nvm). However, seeing that there are many interesting dramas this summer, I cannot say I am fully committed to my promise. So my stance right now is... "it-depends-so-just-wait-and-see-but-if-possible-take-a-break-and-no-drama-subbing-this-summer-please".

One SP so far in my list...

Gokumontou. An NHK two hour SP shown November of last year, that slipped past the jdrama radar. It's a Kindaichi Kosuke masterpiece mystery, and quite challenging to translate. I've been working on this for some time now but seldom got the time to focus on it. Now that KodoGuru6 is done, I'll finally get to finish it. Special thanks to VampireXxX who helped me scour the internet for a good raw. While waiting, you can read about the plot/adaptations, HERE and HERE. Please look forward to it~.

That is all for now~.

Ep. 12 Finale: "Deep Fried Corn and Beef Rice of Gotanda, Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo"

Episode Synopsis. Inogashira Goro (Matsushige Yutake) arrived at Gotanda Station, to meet with his last client for the day, Watanabe Masayoshi (Hasegawa Tomoharu), the president of a certain packing company. However, as soon as Watanabe saw him, he pulled Goro behind some crates to hide him from his mother. Goro was confused and bewildered... After the meeting, Goro stopped for a moment to watch the flow of Meguro River. He suddenly felt hungry and looked for a shop. He saw a signboard that said, "Fureai Eat and Drink Shop Area". It was located inside a building full of snack bars and pubs. Being a non-drinker, Goro at first, hesitated but when he saw the sign, "Shokudou Todaka", he decided to give it a shot. Inside, the master of the shop (Tsuyoshi Muro) asked him to choose a drink which comes with a side nibble. Disappointed, Goro felt uneasy since it seemed it was mainly a pub. But he looked at the menu, and realized that there were Beef Rice and miso soup available, too. Besides, many of the side items like Octopus and Cucumber with Salted Kelp, Deep-Fried Corn, Rockfish-Eggplant Roll, Deep-Fried Sesame Tofu-Tomato Dashi, and Uni On The Nitamago etc. sound curiously tantalizing and promising...

Ep. 11: "Chilled Dandan Noodles and Twice Cooked Pork of Myogadani, Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo"

Episode Synopsis. Inogashira Goro (Matsushige Yutake) was reluctant at first to take on a request from a client to accept a magazine interview on European interior design trends. In the end, he agreed and went to Myogadani in Bunkyo Ward to meet with editor Kawashima Hideki. The interview began right away at a cafe. However, he did not expect them to take his picture as well, so an awkward and stiff Goro had a difficult time posing for the camera... Afterwards, apart from feeling hot on a humid day, Goro also felt suddenly tired and hungry. He searched around downtown until he found "Houei" which serves Chinese cuisine. After he was greeted by clerk Hamada (Mizusawa Erena), Goro immediately ordered chilled dandan noodles which was perfect for the early summer heat. He also scanned the menu, and saw a number of unusual, unheard of items. After much pondering, he decided on twice cooked pork, chawanmushi, and steamed avocado to make up his one-man Chinese midday banquet...
